Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help your pet avoid serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. These include:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to run blood work, cytology, and radiographs.

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite enables us to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures ranging from spays and neuters to soft tissue surgeries.

Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. We place a heavy emphasis on pain management before, during and after surgery to keep your pet comfortable.  Using the most modern equipment, our patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. This includes pulse oximetry, blood pressure, ECG and body temperature.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Ultrasound:    We coordinate schedules with an internal medicine specialist to perform abdominal ultrasounds.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include dental radiology (x-rays), dental scaling and polishing, and dental extractions when indicated.

Laboratory:  We are equipped to run lab work in house, and also utilize an outside diagnostic laboratory for additional services.   We have a special interest in allergy testing.   We work with the VARL allergy testing lab in California to screen for environmental allergies.
